Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Human Resources and Operations Director to join the Indigo Consulting Canada team. As the Human Resources and Operations Director at Indigo Consulting Canada, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company’s future by overseeing the development and execution of strategies to enhance operational efficiency and drive company growth. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to internal processes, systems, and procedures, as well as collaborating with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the business are working together effectively.
In addition to overseeing operations, you will also be responsible for supporting all aspects of the company’s human resources function. This will include recruiting, onboarding, and training new employees, as well as developing and administering policies and programs related to compensation, benefits, and employee relations. You will also work closely with managers and team leaders to identify opportunities for employee development and career advancement.

What you’ll do:
Business Strategy
- Work closely with senior management to understand the needs of the company and design strategic plans to achieve company objectives.
- Plan for resource optimization and planning in a growth context.
- Collaborate with other members of the management team to understand the operational and strategic needs of the company and design HR strategies to address them.
Organizational Effectiveness/Organizational Development
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of support services by making improvements to each function (HR, operations, marketing, finance, legal).
- Plan, develop and lead programs to support the employee career path and performance evaluation cycle, suggest improvements.
- Support and provide tools to senior management to lead and build the business of the future.
Human Resources Management & Leadership
- Develop and implement effective HR policies and practices to attract, recruit, train, and retain high-quality employees at all levels of the organization.
- Provide consulting services on HR and company structure and growth issues.
- Support the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, to create an exceptional experience while striving for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best HR practices to influence HR strategies, tools, systems, policies, and procedures.
Recruitment
- Provide support to senior management regarding analysis of their needs and development of recruitment strategies.
- Responsible for all recruitment processes by proposing appropriate recruitment strategies.
- Participate in recruitment and visibility activities such as job fairs, career days, and visits to universities.
Operations and Project Management
- Contribute to operational excellence by improving operational systems, processes, and policies to support company growth – in particular, improving information flow, business processes, and organizational planning.
- Manage and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of support services (HR, operations, marketing and finance and PMO) by making improvements to each function.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and company growth.
Requirements:
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of HR management experience, including personnel management.
- Work experience with management teams to develop strategic plans and employee development programs.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of HR theories and practices, including current policies, practices, and market trends.
- Work experience in a diverse and multi-disciplinary work environment.
- CRHA member.
